Quick answer
How does OrgIntel360 compile its security ratings?
OrgIntel360 compiles security ratings by passively scanning and mapping external assets (like open ports, certificate validity, DNS records, and mail protection controls) for millions of domains, calculating a letter grade from A to F based on threat severities.
Security ratings combine attack surface exposure, domain health, reputation signals, and severity-weighted findings into a single score from 0–950. Critical and high-severity issues weigh more heavily than informational findings. See [How security scores work](/help/how-security-scores-work) for the full breakdown.
Letter grades map to score bands — for example, A reflects strong posture with limited critical exposure, while lower grades indicate higher aggregate risk. Use grades for quick vendor triage and the numeric score when you need finer comparisons.
Scan schedules vary by plan. Pro and Enterprise profiles refresh on a recurring cadence, and you can trigger manual re-scans from the dashboard when you need the latest snapshot.
Most assessments complete within a few minutes. Larger attack surfaces or first-time indexing may take longer while we discover assets and enrich intelligence signals.
